Hi there!

Nell Calder, celebrant, in late afternoon window light

I’m Nell. Fourteen years producing radio taught me how to hold a room and write words that sound like you, not a script. Now I’m a Brunswick celebrant who writes every ceremony from scratch, handles the legal side properly, and drives a long way for a good view.

And (my partner keeps count) I’ve cried at every single one.

Next steps

  1. Say hello

Tell me your date, a rough location and how you met. I check the date is free and reply within two working days.

  2. Let’s have coffee

Or tea, on me, in Brunswick or on a video call. No obligation. If we suit each other, a $300 deposit holds your date.

  3. Slay the paperwork monster

Your Notice of Intended Marriage reaches me at least a month, and no more than 18 months, before the day. I check your documents and meet each of you on your own, as the law asks.

  4. Enjoy the ride

I write, you read, we fix the lines that don’t sound like you. On the day I arrive early, we say the words, you sign, and I lodge it all within 14 days.
